MORE GREEN. MORE SHARED GROUND.

We begin with
a simple idea:
make room.

For growing. For learning. For one another.

A nonprofit concept
rooted in possibility.

Common Soil is an imagined network of neighbourhood garden projects. It explores how a small shared place might bring practical care, curiosity and everyday connection into the same patch of ground.

The four gardens, six activities and project stories are original fictional content. The site is a complete interactive demonstration, not an operating organisation. There are no real addresses, registrations, donation requests or verified impact claims.

That distinction matters. A good invitation can be hopeful while staying clear about what has been built, what is proposed and what remains unknown.

An illustrative cultivated green garden

Start with the welcome

Think about how someone arrives, understands what is happening, and finds a comfortable way to join.

Make care visible

Give the small routines a place in the plan. Shared tools, useful notes and clear next steps matter.

Learn in the open

Keep observations connected to their context. A useful question can be more honest than an impressive number.

A few things
to know.

Are these real gardens?

No. The map, project names, neighbourhoods and activities are fictional concepts. The map is a schematic illustration, not a navigation tool.

Can I donate or sign up?

There are no donation or registration actions. You can create a local volunteer-interest draft and a sample activity plan without sending information.

What does the site save?

It can save activity identifiers and your interest draft in local browser storage. No account, email address or personal contact details are required.

Where are the images from?

The photography is licensed through Unsplash and used illustratively. The neighbourhood map is original artwork. Full credits and font licenses are available below.
