ASSEMBLY

Ideas meet.
Hands make.

TWO DAYS OF DESIGN20—21 May
2027
ONE SHARED QUESTIONWhat could
we make next?

A fictional gathering for people who think through making. Talks, workshops, and creative conversations about the shape of what comes next.

Explore the programme ↗

Three voices.
Many ways in.

Original fictional practitioners working across identity, typography, and creative coding. Meet their ideas before you choose your sessions.

Come curious.
Leave with
something moving.

Assembly is built around the space between an idea and the thing it becomes. The rough sketch. The useful constraint. The conversation that changes the direction.

Two days, two tracks, and a small programme you can actually explore. Follow a question, try a method, or make a connection you did not expect.

A place for everyone to begin ↗

Different formats.
The same curiosity.

Listen to a point of view, get your hands into a process, or stay for the conversation after the first answer.

01 / IDEAS TRACK

Talks.

Focused sessions that reveal the thinking behind a practice. Forty-five minutes to see a familiar problem from a different angle.

02 / PRACTICE TRACK

Workshops.

Ninety minutes with a useful constraint and a practical exercise. Designed for curiosity, with no specialist software required.

03 / SHARED THINKING

Conversations.

A little less presentation, a little more exchange. A chance to connect ideas across disciplines and ask a better question.

A few good
starting points.

Save a session to your local itinerary. If times overlap, Assembly helps you make a deliberate choice.
