Finding the
right scale.
Start with the space around the print. A small work can feel deliberate when it has a quiet wall to itself. A larger work can anchor a room without needing anything beside it.
Give it breathing room.
When hanging above a sofa or console, leave a comfortable margin on each side. Use paper cut to the proposed size to see the proportions before choosing a frame.
Think in relationships.
Two smaller prints can create the same presence as one large work. Keep the distance between them consistent and let a shared colour, line or mood hold the pair together.
Small30 × 40 cmFor a shelf, bedside or intimate corner.
Medium50 × 70 cmA natural starting point for a single wall.
Large70 × 100 cmA strong focal point with space around it.

When colours
become company.
Matching is not the only way to make a room feel connected. Sometimes one unexpected colour brings the familiar things around it into focus.
Start with a feeling.
Warm earth colours can make a bright space feel softer. Deep blue can bring a useful pause to a busy room. There is no single right answer, only the relationship that feels good to you.
Let one detail travel.
A little ochre in a print might echo a book spine. A green shape might sit comfortably beside a plant. These small connections make a space feel considered without looking planned.
Our Colour & Form series pairs generous shapes with a restrained palette. Each print is complete on its own, and happy to keep another piece company.
