The weight
of an idea.

Objects that hold a thought in space. A fictional artist studio exploring surface, mass, and the quiet tension between forms.

A NOTE ON THE WORK

Weight, surface,
and the space between.

Sable begins with a small relationship: a line that almost closes, a volume shaped by its hollow, or two materials held in a moment of apparent balance. Each study follows that relationship until it becomes a form.

Three material studies.

A LIMITED VOCABULARY

The material
changes the question.

A reflective edge makes a surface feel thin. A porous stone makes an opening feel deep. The work looks for those small shifts in perception.

An object.
A space.
A possibility.

Begin with a material, a setting, or a question. The commission page turns that thought into a local draft.
